We welcome any questions any potential guests may have through our CONTACT US page. Below are some frequently asked questions for our various properties.
Sherkston Shores
FAQs
1. Can we buy waterpark passes through T&A Hideaway?
No you can not. Waterpark passes can be purchased from the guest welcome center to the right after entering the park.
2. Are dogs allowed at Sherkston?
Yes! Sherkston is a dog friendly resort but all dogs must remain on leash, be picked up after, and are only allowed on Elco Beach outside the hours of 10am and 6pm.
3. Can we bring our own boat/PWC to Sherkston?
Yes you can! You will need to provide proof of insurance and ownership to be able to use it at the resort.

4. Is there an age restriction on rentals?
Yes. Rentals can not be offered to guests under the age of 25. As long as the primary renter is over 25 and the parent/guardian of underage renters, renting is not a problem!

5. Can I invite friends to come during the day?
No. Unfortunately Sherkston does not offer day passes. All guests will need to be registered to the park for the duration of the stay.
South Algonquin
FAQs
1. Are Algonquin Park passes available through T&A Hideaway?
No they are not. Any passes required for entry in to Algonquin park can be purchased at the Algonquin Park visitor site.
2. Is the cottage pet friendly?
Yes! We only ask that you clean up after your furry friends and keep in mind that any excessive mess created may result in additional cleaning fees.
3. Can we bring our own boat/PWC?
Yes you can! There is a boat launch at the end of Aylen Lake road and space on our dock for boats up to 18' long. Boat trailers can be parked in front of our garage at the top of the driveway.

4. Is there a local outfitter where we can buy or rent gear?
Yes. Previous renters have had great experience with Algonquin Bound Outfitters in Madawaska. When called in advance, delivery to the cottage can be arranged!
